Jaryn was super responsive. The view of the lake from each room was amazing. The space was excellent for our family group of seven. A/C was excellent during the heat wave! We stayed in Monterey a while back when the General Store was open. Wished there was a store closer than GB or Lee in order to pick up groceries. Otherwise — all great! Jaryn is the best!
We loved our stay. The home is beautiful and ideally located on Lake Garfield. It was well appointed, clean and in great condition. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and that every room had lake views. Communication with the owners was excellent before, during and after our stay. 10/10 would recommend!
Our family has been coming to Lake Garfield and Monterey for four generations, so this trip and cabin were incredibly special and filled with nostalgia. Watching our children enjoy the same lake and small-town charm that generations of our family have loved was truly meaningful. The home was spotless, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The lake views were beautiful, the setting was peaceful, and it was the perfect place for our family to reconnect, relax, and make new memories while honoring old ones. For our family, this was more than a getaway, it was a chance to share a place that has been part of our family’s story for generations. Seeing our children swim in the same lake, explore the same roads, and experience the magic of Monterey that has meant so much to our family over the years was priceless. These are memories we’ll cherish forever, and we can’t wait to come back!
